Fallon Leigh O’Brien is an award-winning producer, videographer, journalist, tv host, visual artist, writer and community activist. She focuses on the areas of politics, arts, and culture in her show, Fallon’s Daily Toast, which has been airing via social media since mid-2014. Her short-form, lively video essays are known for their immediacy, fun, and authenticity. In 2015 FDT was picked up by Channel 3 in Somerville Massachusetts. It was there she joined forces with Jesa Damora of FunnelCake Marketing to co-host the Toast and bump it to a new level; it was at SMC that better production values, a host-operated set, and the input of a professional community helped to reshape the show.
Previously, Fallon was co-creator and camera person for North Country Local News, the first web-based broadcasting company based in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. She spearheaded and fundraised for Bethlehem Skateboard Park and advocated the importance of recreational activities for children and adults. She went on to be lead organizer, and host of northern New Hampshire’s first TEDx conference titled: TEDxLittleton, True North: A Rural Renaissance.
Fallon moved south from her New England stronghold at the end of 2018 to immerse herself in the cultural phenomenon that is New Orleans, Louisiana for four years. She's back in New England and has chosen Montpelier VT as her second home. She'll be between both places periodically. Her show has been picked up by Orca Media Channel 1075 and will be airing in February. You can find her artwork hanging at Vermont Security and Gram Central Dispensary.
