Sleep, Rest, Relaxation and Rejuvenation. by Noah. I tend to view the physical being as a rubber band of sorts. It (such as the heart, the mind, the muscles, the bones, etc.) must remain warm and moist, to stay pliable. If one over-stresses the body or lets it dry out, it can knot and snap. There's something Hollywood heroism doesn't reveal and that is a person can die from the lack of proper sleep. As I see it, when our muscles twitch or when we talk in our sleep, it is often our body's way of ''unwinding'' from the happenings it has stored and no longer needs to bear (much like purging of unnecessary information in a computer). Without proper sleep or rejuvenation, we often wake up unprepared, irritable, and less efficient. I feel society must accept the importance of sleep more than it currently does.
